Bio
Currently a sophomore at App State, Sofie is majoring in Sustainable Development with a concentration in Environmental Studies and a minor in Business. Her passion for social justice and environmental conservation began in high school through the Watauga Social Justice Initiative and the Watauga High School Sustainability Club. Sofie is a proud Boone native and is very motivated to protect the mountains and wilderness of Western North Carolina. When she is not in school, Sofie spends her time hiking, playing music, and working as a whitewater raft guide.
