Bio
Prerana is a senior at NC State University with a major in Nutrition Science and a minor in Environmental Science. As a student on the pre-dental track, Prerana is particularly interested in integrating sustainability into the dental industry, specifically in reducing single-use plastics. She is also passionate about environmental justice and is excited to work with NC Conservation Network to further her commitment to advocating for the planet. Prior to NCCN, she was involved with organizations such as Alliance for Climate Education and NC WARN. At NC State, Prerana is active in Alpha Phi Omega, the Krispy Kreme Challenge, NCSU Pre-Dental Club, and the Academic Success Center. In her free time, she likes to go on walks, cook, listen to music, and spend time with her friends and family.
