Bio
Jayla is a freshman attending North Carolina Central University, majoring in Pre-Nursing. Driven by a passion for understanding the science behind how all things work, she is eager to learn and obtain knowledge to share with her community. Jayla looks forward to collaborating with NC Conservation Network and aims to educate the community on effective strategies to keep the various environments in North Carolina clean, healthy, and safe. Prior to NC Conservation Network, Jayla collaborated with North Carolina Emergency Management where she learned about different environmental risk factors and how people acquire the resources they may need. During her free time, Jayla enjoys traveling, arts and crafts, watching movies, coaching youth league sports, and spending time with her friends and family.
