Bio
Whitney Tucker is Deputy Director of Research at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. Whitney leads a team of analysts in examining state tax and budget policies to determine trends, impacts, and opportunities to enhance racial and economic justice. Prior to joining the Center, she spent nearly a decade advancing anti-poverty policy in state-level child advocacy organizations. In her free time, Whitney enjoys painting, hosting dinner parties and frequently traveling to North Carolina to spend time with her extended family. Whitney holds a B.A. in Public Policy from Vanderbilt University and an M.P.H. in Health Services Policy from the University of South Carolina.
