Bio
Melissa lives in Asheville, NC, on the unceded lands of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee, and is a returning NC Conservation Network board member. She has been a member of the Sierra Club’s media team since 2015, and is the lead press secretary for its Beyond Coal campaign. She also currently serves as the Sierra Club’s Acting Deputy Chief of Communications – Regional Media.
