Jessica Mendez Rowe

Bio

Jessica grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia which seeded her love for the environment. She is an organizational leader, community builder, and advocate for intersectional environmentalism.

Jessica is the Events & Partnership Manager at Piedmont Environmental Alliance. In her current role, Jessica leads efforts to make Forsyth County more resilient to the impacts of climate change by convening partners and finding unique solutions to meet a wide array of local community needs. She holds a degree in Anthropology from the University of Virginia and a dual Masters in Divinity and M.A. in Sustainability from Wake Forest University.

Outside of paid work, Jessica enjoys gathering with friends to eat good food, drinking chai, taking walks with her spouse, and playing with their 1 year old.
