Session 1: Readying the Ground, NC Farmers on How to Grow In the Face of Adversity

In this first session, a noon Lunch and Learn, we will learn from a panel of NC farmers about the challenges they are navigating, explore ways to support farmers and our local food system, and get a brief policy update on the federal Farm Bill.
Session 2: Grounded in Dignity, Standing with Farmworkers

In this session we will celebrate National Farmworker Awareness Week with a panel discussion on challenges farmworkers are navigating and explore ways to support them in this moment.
Session 3: Grounded Response, Employing Advocacy to Break Through the Noise
April 17 at 6 pm – bit.ly/GroundedResponse
In this session we will present a range of ways to engage in advocacy action and exercise your power as we continue to navigate a changing policy landscape. Bring your tactics and ideas to share! Our goal is to present a rapid fire list of things to think through when you call your legislator, email a decision maker, and write a public comment. We will hold space to practice taking action together.
