Everyone deserves to live in a healthy community without having to think twice about whether the air and water are safe and clean. But three corporations are planning massive gas projects that could put these basic rights at risk.
Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Company, Enbridge and Equitrans Midstream want to construct new methane gas pipelines in Rockingham County. These projects could threaten our safety, property values and rights, health, and rivers. Two of the pipelines are proposed to cross the Dan River, a sensitive river with many endangered species of fish and freshwater mussels.
