Bio
As Executive Director, Brian directs the organization’s overall work, including implementing the organization’s vision, directing fundraising, building external partnerships, and government relations. Brian previously served as Chair of the Durham Planning Commission and the Durham Open Space and Trails Commission. He was also an American Marshall Memorial Fellow with the German Marshall Fund. In his free time, he enjoys running, playing music and hiking with his family. Brian has been with NC Conservation Network since 1999.
